"Show Me the Menu" is a full-stack web application that enables users to search for restaurant menus by name and location in real time. The app discovers a restaurant's official website, crawls it for menu content, and displays structured menu data, which includes sections, items, prices, and descriptions. Direct links are provided to the user for the restaurant's website, Toast, and Square POS sources.

The back end is built with Express and Node.js, using Cheerio for HTML scraping and link discovery across candidate menu pages. It extracts menu text from both HTML and PDF sources, then normalizes unstructured content into structured JSON via OpenAI's Responses API with enforced JSON schema output. Restaurant discovery is powered by OpenAI web search with tool use. The React front end features a debounced autocomplete location picker via the Open-Meteo Geocoding API with AbortController support, and a canvas-based particle animation using requestAnimationFrame.
